The latest book from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library arrived in the mail on Thursday. Philip is now the proud owner of Tomie dePaola’s tale Strega Nona’s Harvest.
I read the book to Philip tonight before bath time. I managed to read this and another book all the way through by gripping tightly and turning away when Philip tried to steal the books from my hands or close the book in mid-sentence. When I finished the books, I let Philip hold and look at them. That’s two more books that I can count toward the library’s summer “Read to Me” program.
