Last week I shared that I want to increase my average steps per day by 10%. That works out to 9,240 steps per day.
This is my third week of posting my daily step count to the private Facebook group that my friend and I use to discuss healthy living. But this is the first week I’m also reporting out to my blog readers.
My 7-day average is now 9, 794 steps. My 28-day average has increased by 15% over the previous 28 days to 9,430 steps.
Since last week, I was under goal two days: I only logged 8,604 steps Saturday and I missed my goal by a mere 60 steps (insert /facepalm) on Friday. However, my average was saved by the 11,631 steps I managed on Tuesday.
Now that the weather is getting colder, it’s going to take willpower and creativity to maintain my progress. I’ll check in again next Friday to let you know how it goes.
