Peter and I both went to the doctor today. I got in with the nurse practitioner who serves as our primary care physician while Peter met with another doctor in the same practice. Completely independent of each other, we were prescribed the same medication to treat the nasty cough we both have. I was given a higher dosage but a lower quantity.
Those prescriptions were sent directly to the pharmacy. Meanwhile, we also both given printed prescriptions for antibiotics if our symptoms don’t improve by the end of the week. My upper respiratory infection will be treated with Amoxicillin while Peter will fill a script for a Z-pack.
That’s how we spent our Monday. Not getting his and her tattoos or cars but his and her prescriptions.
