What better test to see if Philip was going to stay vomit-free than letting him spend five minutes in a bounce house?
Last weekend, I decided to take advantage of the great weather and take Philip on part of the Medina County Fall Foliage Tour. We divided up the stops over Saturday and Sunday. Last Sunday’s slideshow featured photos from our first stop, the Pioneers in the Park.
We hit two other stops last Saturday. On the spur of the moment, we visited the Izaak Walton League. I thought it would be fun to take a wagon ride through the 75-acre private reserve.
I was most looking forward to the next site, Jones Turkey Farm. I thought it would be cool to learn more about raising turkeys. Unfortunately, the focus was more on the harvesting of the birds.
Philip didn’t care. There was a bounce house, so he was content. Plus, Our Zoo to You was on hand to show off their collection of exotic animals. We had seen their presentation during a cub scout meeting, but it was nice to get a second look.
