While everyone else was at home on Easter Sunday hunting eggs or eating ham, we took a drive north to the Carlisle Reservation at Lorain County MetroParks. We were the only ones save the staff inside the Visitors Center. That was a good thing since Philip was running wild exploring the children’s play space. He made lap after lap between the dinosaur discovery and the gift shop where turtles were on display.
Seeing how much energy Philip had, we decided to take him to a park instead. The weather was just right for being outdoors, but we seemed to three of the few taking advantage of it. Despite the wealth of playground equipment that Philip had all to himself, he opted to play with the rubber mulch. His hands were black, but I think he was finally wore out by the time we headed home.
