Two birthdays

In less than two weeks, Philip will turn five. That means that this blog will turn four! To celebrate (and avoid composing original content since I’m not ready to write about some life-altering decisions I’m facing), I’ll be featuring posts from my archives on the weekdays until THE BIG DAY! What better place to start than my very first blog post.

From September 22, 2009:

The very first picture on the very first post

Today, Philip turns one. Each day over the next year, I will be photographing him to see how much he changes between now and his second birthday. I wanted to create a digital scrapbook that we can one day look at together to remember the random moments that made up one year in his life. In this photo, Philip is unwrapping a gift from a co-worker. Peter took off the ribbon, and I helped Philip grab a bit of paper so that he could get started.

Riveting stuff, I know.

For those of you not familiar with the origin tale of my blog, I invite you to visit my About page to learn how that cynking feeling has evolved over the last four years.

Have you recently or will you soon celebrate a blogging milestone? Tell us about it in the comments.
