Today was the ninth annual Touch a Truck event sponsored by the Ashland Public Library. I called my mom this morning and asked if she wanted to come with me and Philip to see the various trucks. She agreed to join us, so I had an opportunity to take a few pictures.
I was pleased that Philip was scared by the cacophony of honking horns or afraid of all the people. He did get nervous after getting into a few vehicles. He was most interested in those that had steps that he could climb. Here he is grabbing onto Grandma so that he can get out of the historical Army ambulance.
The weather was clear and hot for the event. Mom had errands to take care of, too, so we didn’t explore every truck. I hope we can go again next year and let Philip see and touch more trucks.
Wow! So cool! I love libraries! They do so much for communities. 🙂
